Real Estate Investment Policy

Starting from 1st March 2014, all foreign citizens can purchase property of minimum RM1 million in Malaysia. MM2H participants can buy residential or commercial property without the approval from Foreign Investment Committee. The time frame for property purchase and selling is around 3 – 6 months.

According to Article 433B of the Malaysian National Land Code, the purchase price of Malaysian real estate must be at the minimum set by the state governments:
